Why ORGANIC?

Let's start with taste. The authentic tastes within organic food allows you to enjoy what you are eating, instead of simply going through the motions of consuming something that is supposed to taste good.

Some foods you thought you didn’t like, you will find tasty and satisfying for the first time or for the first time in a long while. With organics, a new world of pleasure and appreciation opens up to you!

I’ve had countless discussions regarding why to eat organic ...                     as always the choice is yours ...

Eating denatured foods leads to a lack within the body’s nutritional requirements and directly affect your body weight.  By learning to enjoy simple, clean and wholesome foods, you can shed unwanted pounds and the guilt-laden dietary noose while establishing better health.

Does organic food cost more?
Depends ... You see organically grown foods are generally higher in price, but you are getting far more for your money. The food tastes better, because it is better.  It is more nutritious and more satisfying. You can eat less, you will waste less and your body will respond positively to the better nutrition.

What is ORGANIC PRODUCTION?
Organic production is based on principles that support healthy practices. These principles aim to increase the quality and the durability of the environment through specific management and production methods. They also focus on ensuring the humane treatment of animals.

The general principles of organic production are to:

  • Protect the environment, minimize soil degradation and erosion, decrease pollution, optimize biological productivity and promote a sound state of health.
  • Maintain long-term soil fertility by optimizing conditions for biological activity within the soil.
  • Maintain biological diversity within the system.
  • Recycle materials and resources to the greatest extent possible within the enterprise.
  • Provide attentive care that promotes the health and meets the behavioural needs of livestock.
  • Prepare organic products, emphasizing careful processing, and handling methods in order to maintain the organic integrity and vital qualities of the products at all stages of production
  • Rely on renewable resources in locally organized agricultural systems.

So ask yourself, what is your health worth?  and make good choices by simply weaning yourself off processed foods, because in the long run, it costs far less to eat wholesome organic food.
